Evaluating the External You!
To get to the root causes of your musculoskeletal aches and pains, the doctors and staff incorporate a Holistic three-prong active approach in your rehabilitation and therapy program. The components of this approach include:
Medical Massage and Bodywork
Medical Massage is primarily the application of specific treatment protocols targeted to the specific problem(s) the patient presents with, the physician's diagnosis, and administered after a thorough assessment/evaluation by a medical massage therapist. »»More Info
Therapeutic and Rehabilitative Exercise
Exercises that are prescribed specifically for your individual needs, designed to correct any impairments, improve, and maintain musculoskeletal function. The goals of these exercises are to improve a patient's ambulation, muscle function and strength, and to improve coordination and balance.
Chiropractic Adjustments combined with Joint Mobilizations
The purpose of an adjustment is to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints that have become hypo-mobile (restricted in their movement) as a result of a tissue injury. The injured tissues undergo physical and chemical changes that can cause inflammation, pain, and diminished function for the sufferer. Chiropractic adjustment of the affected joint and tissues restores mobility, thereby alleviating pain and muscle tightness and allowing tissues to heal. »»More Info
Additional clinical tools utilized to round out patient care include:
Spinal Pelvic Stabilizers/Orthotics
A Spinal Pelvic Stabilizer is placed in your shoe to help improve your body's balance, posture, and alignment. Stabilizers are the only orthotics designed to support all three arches of the foot. By providing proper support for your feet, Stabilizers help create a balanced foundation for your body. »»More Info
Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments
A method of administering pure oxygen under a greater than atmospheric pressure to improve certain health conditions. »»More Info

Home Therapeutic Exercises
Exercises performed at home designed to coordinate with the treatments received in the office. Performance of these exercises will help to enhance care and further progress treatment results.
Ergonomic assessments & recommendations
Ergonomic assessments involve an in-depth evaluation of posture and mechanics with the intent to find the causes of repetitive motion injuries. Correcting the causes of these injuries can prevent further irritation of the injury and prevent future injuries from occurring by recommending workplace and behavioral adaptations, as well as improve efficiency and comfort while performing daily tasks.
Proprioception & Balance
Gait Analysis
DOT Physicals
Drug Screenings
Paternity and DNA Testing
DNA testing is done for many reasons – paternity, health issues, ancestry, immigration, forensics, adoption, estate planning, missing persons, etc. Collection of a sample is a quick and painless process performed in our office and then sent to Chromosomal Laboratories, Inc. for analysis. Chromosomal Laboratories routinely uses a 16 marker test that is 99.9% accurate.
Hair Analysis for Trace Metals
Trace metal levels and balance affect health and longevity. Having improper levels of metals can cause many health issues involving every aspect of your health and life, such as energy levels, digestion, learning ability, growth/development, sleep, sexual function, nerve function, muscle function, immunity, and teeth/gums. Hair analysis benefits includes: no needles, no mess, painless, fast, easy, provides a permanent and historical record, as well as an increased analysis of trace metals.
Spirometry
Spirometry is a common noninvasive test that is used to measure lung function. It measures the volume and flow of air that can be inhaled and exhaled. It is helpful in assessing conditions such as asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, cystic fibrosis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder. Signs and symptoms that may indicate you need a lung function test are: shortness of breath, chronic cough, wheezing, chest tightness, excess mucus production, and fatigue. Spirometry should be performed on all tobacco smokers, former smokers, and those who are exposed to tobacco smoke or environmental irritants in the workplace or home.
Resting EKG
Electrocardiography is a noninvasive test that records the electrical activity of the heart. Skin electrodes are placed selectively along the border of the heart, wrists, and ankles. An electrical signal spreads from the top of the heart down to the bottom with each heartbeat. Those electrical signals are recorded and can show how fast your heart is beating, if there is an irregular heartbeat, and the strength and timing of electrical signals as they pass through each part of your heart. Signs and symptoms that may indicate you need a EKC are: chest or jaw pain, irregular heartbeats, difficulty breathing, fatigue and or weakness.
